New Things In Life

Man oh man...
This year is just flying on by me at the speed of light...

Or so it seems that way.

January: Not much to report there aside from a whole new year with a ...President I didn't elect.

February: A little before the start of this month my Dad's Mother passed away; I was close to her in so many ways that I was a total mess for a day to day and a half. Still haven't gotten over to my Uncle's place to pick up the things from her old trailer I would like to have of hers to remember her by.
Feb. 2: San Francisco Christmas Present Trip; lots of fun at the Japanese Tea Garden

March: St. Patrick's Day came and went; visiting Missionary Couple from Bolivia came to visit; that was probably one of the best parts of the Month ^^ My 24th b-day trip to L.A. Zoo as well

April: And here we are. What's happened so far?
Aside from having a trip to L.A. last Monday, the month is PACKED with things.

This week:
-CA Adventure trip thanks to Cherie at Church giving my Mom and I the 4 2fer Passes that were left over from her, her husband and the Missionary Couple going to Disneyland when they were visiting last month
-Thursday: Childcare for the Woman's Bible Study Group
-Saturday: Woman's Refresher Breakfast Potluck and then Little Tokyo's Cherry Blossom Festival in Los Angeles X3
-Sunday: Church as always

Next week:
-Monday: Teacher Meeting for GNC
-Tuesday: RCC GNC (Railroad Canyon Elementary Good News Club)
-Wednesday: Machado GNC
-Thursday: Childcare
-Friday: L.A., yet again XD For seeing Country artist Alan Jackson get his star on the Walk of Fame

And the next weeks after that...well, for me, they're wide open aside from the 21st when I have Childcare duty for GNC Teacher Training for the last time for this part of the School Year.

Heh...
Now.

Just to wait for the Backstreet Boys to come Temecula, CA at Pechanga Hotel and Casino to perform X3 Then AX a couple of weeks later and then 4 days later, heading off to AZ for an Outreach for almost 2 weeks. ^^; Man oh man...

My life is rather crazy and always filled with something to keep me busy.
Well, hopefully a listing I found recently today will resort in Employment since its close and local X3

So, that's it guys.

Is There Really Any Criteria For Vampires?

Okay, most of you, if you read this entry, are going to flame my tail and chew me out for voicing my opinion and position on the heavily fan crazed Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer.
And you know what.

That's your own choice and opinion.

Me: I'm sick of it. And...got over it by the time I reached Breaking Dawn and realized what dribble fanfiction it is.

If you aren't familiar with the word "fanfiction" its merely a word that is a definition of a "fan" creating a "fictional" tale using various genres such as; Anime, Movies, Books, Television, Music and any other genre you can find to rape with your words. Yeah, I said that. And I'm not too ashamed at it. Anyway, some fanfictions can be actually REALLY well written by someone who has a common mind on how to put words to MS Word or w/e format you use for your works. And make SENSE.
Then you get the little noobs out there that do their stuff like a 1st grader wrote it.

Or worse.
They create an OC (Original Character) based off THEMSELF.
These are the worse.

Stephanie Meyer.
She did just that with Twilight.

But enough about land basting her.
On to the real reason for this entry.

Since Twilight's start, there have been THOUSANDS of screaming Teenage girls and even...Adults, who have gone to side with either Team Edward; the oh so great sparkly vegetarian trout of Forks, Washington.
To Team Jacob: The...rather hunky looking shape shifting into a Werewolf due to a Curse of sorts that runs deep within his Tribe's blood lines.

Oops.
Sorry for you all noob Twi-tards who haven't read Eclipse.

SPOILER ALERT THERE.

Now, if Vampires WERE real. They would be finding a way to pimp slamp the little sparkly man into a non existent grave or even death if they knew what he was. And the fact that he SPARKLES, yes, SPARKLES in the sunlight.
We've all grown up with either the original Dracula based off the telling from the tale of Bram Stroker's "Dracula"...and I'm not talking about the one that has the character of Dracula show up as some steroid pumped Werewolf humping some girl in the RAIN in a courtyard.

Srsly.
I read Bram Stroker's tale of "Dracula"...and don't even recall that happening.

To the old black and white Dracula becoming the colored edition we've seen to a movie of a man that was a Vampire helping a Director film a movie using a Vampire so that the Vampire himself could feed on people without anyone not realizing that he WASN'T acting. To the truly beautifully put together film adaption of the ONLY true depiction of Vampires by the well renowned author, Anne Rice in her Vampire Chronicles series with the movie: "Interview With The Vampire."

THAT was how Vampires should be portrayed, but now...we're getting these love sick sparkly ones who end up leaving the only human they've come to want to protect so that they don't hurt that person. ONLY to send her spinning into a dark depression that about nearly would've sent most of us into a Whacko Basket in real life. Then to have her possibly hooking up w/an old friend of the Indian Tribe in the area.

Srsly.

Is this what we've come down to?

BUT. THERE IS HOPE!
Humor has arose from the crazy fandom of this Vampire nonsense.

This is merely one that I found through a "Random Link Of the Day" on the Anthro Art site: FurAffinity

BEHOLD this madness:
This URL is here should the embedding not work ^^;

And even out of all of this, there is also a sister duo who've in their own way parodied off the first of this 4 book now movie series in these:

Twilight Parody by the Hillywood Show
URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MKz0gkcgAo

New Moon Parody by The Hillywood Show
URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti13oOYvyp8&feature=related

So in all of this. Some humor has arisen to make fun of this series and the lulz of vampires the way they're being portrayed these days.

See ya later, guys.

Inspiration? What's That?

I was reading over a friend of mine's sister's Blog and she had written an Inspiration List of things and people who inspire her. And I figured I'd do the same.

1) My friends: These people amaze me day in and day out, be they people I know from my own home State of Southern CA, to those I've gotten to know from FL because they is crazy XP To those I've gotten to know and befriend through the online Instant Message community of IMVU.

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't speak to those people everyday; if I was to lose each and everyone of them, I just don't know what I'd do. I know in a way, I would find a way to move on and live, but in the same way...I'd still be lost without them.

2) My Mom: Okay, she should be at the top of my list, but its hard to really pick between who should be first and who should be second. So in a way, I guess they're tied for Number 1. My Mom has become like a friend I can confide in about anything, well, maybe here and there things. Because there are some things that if I told her about...^^; You guys wouldn't see me on here.

I know I should put more up, but...each would take forever to talk about and give you a reason WHY I chose that one as part of my inspiration list. But I don't have that kind of patience.

Overall, everything and everyone in my life.

You all inspire me.

In your own unique ways you inspire me and make me laugh each day in your ways. No matter what the humor is, there is always some kind of laughter to be found in it.
